Am I A False Teacher?

It all depends upon the fruit that drops from your tree.

Listen to the Amplified Version of Matthew 7:15-20 (AMP)

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you dressed as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves. You willfully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?

Even so, every healthy (sound) tree bears good fruit [worthy of admiration], but the sickly (decaying, worthless) tree bears bad (worthless) fruit. A good (healthy) tree cannot bear bad (worthless) fruit, nor can a bad (diseased) tree bear excellent fruit [worthy of admiration].

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.

Therefore, you willfully know them by their fruits."

If you’re a bad tree, you will yield bad fruit.

Notice what the Lord said.

Let’s look at identifying features.

You’ll come in sheep’s clothing.

You’re indistinguishable. Your disguise is so good that they could barely tell the difference.

Do I "fit in?"

2 Peter 2:1-3 (NKJV) "But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber."

Jude 1:4 (NKJV) "For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ."

No one noticed me. So far. So good.

I could work for the CIA, lol.

You look like the real thing until they closely examine you and your words.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (NKJV) “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder!

For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.”

False teachers and prophets are the same.

Your intention is to deceive so that you can devour your prey and plunder them.

You have to do it this way to effectively infiltrate the Body of Christ in order to take from them what they have (money, possessions, and sex).

Your greatest fear is discovery and the sound of the alarm.

I know that I don't belong in ministry, I just want to "Bogart" my way in.

Infiltrate and do as I please.

I hate the light.

Your next identifying feature as a false teacher or prophet is that you possess great oratory skills.

You know how to talk very well. It’s mesmerizing. So mesmerizing, you love hearing you talk.

2 Timothy 3:13 (NKJV)

"But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived."

You know what words to use to hold their attention.

You know how to communicate in such a way that you know that you've captivated the audience. If you don't communicate well to capture a person's attention, they will not listen to you.

You're skilled at touching their emotions to such a degree that they've become unaware of what’s being done.

Proverbs 14:15 (NKJV)

“The simple believes every word, but the prudent considers well his steps.”

How well can I twist the Scriptures?

2 Peter 3:14-17 (NKJV) "Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul,

according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand,

which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked..."

Don't let people know that you are "of one who wrests or tortures language in a false sense."

Don't let people know that you're pretending to be a preacher, violating every word of the Scriptural qualifications in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, called by God. Keep fooling yourself. You weren't called by Him in the first place. You have no evidence.

But who cares? My job is to deceive people into thinking that I'm the real deal.

When you see that they won’t challenge what you say, you feel comfortable with adding more convincing deceptive statements. Statements that are designed to deceive them.

The wilder the story, the better.

1 Corinthians 2:1-5 (NKJV) “And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God.

For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.

And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”

When you don’t preach or teach the simple gospel message, and preach nonsensical, unsubstantiated, baseless things, it’s a dead giveaway.

So be careful so you won't be detected. As a false teacher and prophet, you violate harmonious Scripture.

You make believe and tell fantasies.

You tell them visions, and dreams, and to pursue their destiny.

You talk about visions of Jesus. Talking regularly with angels. You have and talk about many dreams. You talk spiritual. You promise them "signs, wonders, and miracles."

You tell them that you're anointed. You tell them that they're blessed. You tell them that they're prosperous. You tell them that they'll get healed or touched by God. You tell them that you can have more of God. You promise them abundance and wealth that they have power to "get wealth."

You tell them that God has a plan for their lives. You tell them that they have purpose to fulfill. But don't tell them about sin. Tell them that they're free and forgiven without telling them to repent and be holy.

Don't tell them about the efficacy of the expiatory sacrifice of Christ for sin. Don't tell them about the substitutionary appeasement.

That Jesus is the propitiation for our sins. Don't tell them about the Advocate, that Jesus is the one that pleads with the Father to pardon our sins when we repent.

You can have “forgiveness without repentance.”

And above all things. Never use the word "REPENTANCE."

Never tell them that they will burn in hell for sin. That's offensive and that's hate speech.

You tell them that "God loves them the way they that are" or "come to church the way they are," because if you tell them that God hates sin and that "God is angry with the wicked every day," they might get so mad at you, that they'll cuss you out.

It's easier to use honey to catch flies than using vinegar.

Just tell them to "come to church." That's less offensive to people.

Don't tell them about the 10 Commandments to show that they're sinners, guilty before God. Don't talk about death and what will happen after they die.

When they come to church, you just lay hands on them and they'll fall under the "power." "Slain in the Spirit."

Make sure that you have "catchers" so they won't bust their head and sue you.

If you do these things, you will be one of the greatest false teachers and prophets in the world.

satan mastered convincing angels in heaven. The lessons he learned with deceiving angels is now in the earth. He's honed his skills.

He was able to deceive two thirds of the stars or angels in heaven into a war in heaven in Revelation 12.

satan was successful in convincing angels and they were unsuccessful in their quest to dethrone God. These fallen angels were so convinced that they made war against God and lost at the hand of Michael and the remaining loyal angels.

Why were they convinced?

God created the angels with power to do His will and they all sinfully perverted their purpose.

Just as satan was full of pride, so too, were the fallen angels.

Isaiah 14:12-15 (NKJV) “How you are fallen from heaven,

O Lucifer, son of the morning!

How you are cut down to the ground,

You who weakened the nations!

For you have said in your heart:

I will ascend into heaven,

I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;

I will also sit on the mount of the congregation

On the farthest sides of the north;

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,

I will be like the Most High.’

Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,

To the lowest depths of the Pit.”

It’s the same with you as a false teacher and false prophet.

You realize what “power” you have and then turn it against the Lord for your perverted purposes.

You'll use titles like “apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher, minister, elder, and bishop.”

Why?

If they respect the title, they'll be easy to be deceived and they won't challenge you. You pray that they won't go past who you say you are and challenge what you teach.

Finally, you'll introduce prayer and music that sounds Scriptural, and then when it’s time to preach or teach, you’ll pervert the gospel with a mixture of truth and lies in hopes that they wouldn’t suspect what’s going on.

As long as they're caught up with the atmosphere of being emotional, you have a good chance of deceiving them.

They must never guard their emotions.

Galatians 1:6-9 (NKJV) “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.”

You add to the Scriptures things that were never in Scripture. It’s extra Biblical teaching to sensationalize the false teaching above the Scriptures. To the degree that they believe your word above the Word of God because they’re convinced that what you’re promising is true.

Proverbs 30:6 (NKJV) “Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.”

Much like what satan did to Eve.

The greatest way for people to expose me is when they put me and my words to the test.

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

“Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.“

1 John 4:1 (NKJV) “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

Revelation 2:2 (NKJV) “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars…”
