The Temple Must NOT Be Built At All Costs

The Temple Mount is occupied by two buildings.

The Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque.

In 1917, the Jews were allowed back into their home land after centuries of being exiled from the land. During this exile, the muslims have occupied the land and built two buildings in the palace of the ruins of the Temple which took place in AD 70 at the hands of Titus, a Roman military leader.

The Lord Jesus prophesied that the Temple would be destroyed.

Matthew 24:1-2 (NKJV) "Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple.

And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

When the Lord Jesus died on the cross, the veil separating the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place was ripped in two pieces.

Matthew 27:50-51 (NKJV) "And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split..."

In looking at Scripture, we see that the Tabernacle of Moses had two veils.

A veil woven together and a screen door.

Hebrews 9:2-3 (NKJV) "For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary; and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All..."

So where do we get the two veils from?

Exodus 26:31-37 (NKJV) “You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an artistic design of cherubim. You shall hang it upon the four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold. Their hooks shall be gold, upon four sockets of silver. And you shall hang the veil from the clasps.

Then you shall bring the ark of the Testimony in there, behind the veil. The veil shall be a divider for you between the holy place and the Most Holy. You shall put the mercy seat upon the ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy.

You shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand across from the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south; and you shall put the table on the north side.

“You shall make a screen for the door of the tabernacle, woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, made by a weaver. And you shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold; their hooks shall be gold, and you shall cast five sockets of bronze for them."

So when the veil between the Most Holy Place and the Holy Place was ripped in two, it signified that the Old Covenant was fulfilled, making way for the New Covenant.

So the writer of Hebrews explains from Jeremiah 31:31-34 what this "new covenant" would do.

Hebrews 8:7-13 (NKJV) "For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.

Because finding fault with them,

He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—

not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the LORD.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away."

We needed a little background because now we shift to what's happening in Israel today.

The Hamas Operation against the nation of Israel is Al Aqsa Flood.

The plan has always been about keeping Israel from building the 3rd Temple. World opposition to building settlements and the Temple is crucial. Should the Temple be built and more Israelis settle in Israel, the quest for a Palestinian State ends.

Should the 3rd Temple be built, it's a clear sign of the end and the Messiah to return to Jerusalem.

The whole purpose of the 2 state delusion is to prevent the 3rd Temple from being built.

Daniel 9:24-27 (NKJV)

“Seventy weeks are determined

For your people and for your holy city,

To finish the transgression,

To make an end of sins,

To make reconciliation for iniquity,

To bring in everlasting righteousness,

To seal up vision and prophecy,

And to anoint the Most Holy."

“Know therefore and understand,

That from the going forth of the command

To restore and build Jerusalem

Until Messiah the Prince,

There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;

The street shall be built again, and the wall,

Even in troublesome times.

“And after the sixty-two weeks

Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;

And the people of the prince who is to come

Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.

The end of it shall be with a flood,

And till the end of the war desolations are determined.

Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;

But in the middle of the week

He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.

And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,

Even until the consummation, which is determined,

is poured out on the desolate."

We're getting closer and closer to the "one week."

But we need the 3rd Temple to be built in order for the "prince" or "Antichrist," "son of perdition," also known as the "Beast" to appear so he could "confirm a covenant with many for one week."

A week isn't literally 7 days but 7 years.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 (NKJV)

"Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?

And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

At some point, Israel will build a Temple when there's "peace and safety."

1 Thessalonians 5:1-9 (NKJV) "But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.

For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.

Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.

But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ..."

It's only when Israel feels safe to build the Temple that the Temple will be built and then for the 1st 3.5 years of the finally week, Israel will feel at peace. Then Matthew 24:15-21 comes to pass which is connected to Revelation 13:11-18.

But why do they stand in the way of the Temple being built?

Revelation 12 tells us that satan knows that he has but a short time.

The Messiah will come with power and great glory to execute the wrath of the Father and the wrath of the Lamb upon all of mankind, and satan will be cast into the lake of fire forever.
