You've Been Warned

What happens when we've been warned and we ignore the warning?

Acts 20:29-31 (NKJV) "For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.

Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.

Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears."

There's "prophets" that warned that 2024 would be the year of exposure.

But allow me to point out that the exposure has been happening for a long time before 2024.

Since the apostles of the Lamb, false prophets, that's antichrists, have emerged and in every generation, they come and go.

In fact, the Lord warned us that false Christs and false prophets would rise up.

Matthew 24:4-5 (NKJV) "And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many."

Matthew 24:11 (NKJV)

"Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many."

We've never imagined how the enemy would use them. Through the music industry, we see that "gospel artists" would initially sing Biblical songs and that was the door to deceive the masses. We become so emotionally inundated that when it came time for the Word, discernment of the Scriptures is tossed and we believe everything we hear.

Proverbs 14:15 says "The simple believe every word but the prudent considers well his steps."

After rapturous music, they would come with their deceptions which turns out to be "seducing spirits and doctrines of devils."

Paul warned us in 2 Timothy 3:13 "Evil men and imposters would grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived."

They amass great wealth by teaching the healing and prosperity gospel to deceive the people into giving money by paying tithes and offerings.

Since the truth of the gospel has come forth, the fake, the counterfeiters, and the false have emerged. Just because we've seen a resent uptick in the ones that's being exposed, it's not something new or special.

Besides, broadcasting these exposures doesn't make one a special messenger or prophet.

The Lord beat us all to the punch.

For years, certain persons that's well known on the TV channels have emerged to be exposed for their sexual sins and false doctrine.

They've been warned even without a prophet telling anyone.

It doesn't take a prophet to do this because God placed His Word in everyone's hearts, but He sends the true prophets anyway as the valid mouthpiece of God to warn the wicked in the church.

Judgment must begin at the house of God (see 1 Peter 4:17).

Romans 2:15-16 (NKJV) "...who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel."

So who's been exposed over the years?

Kenneth Hagin, a student of E.W.Kenyon. John G. Lake, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Oral Roberts, and a whole host of others.

One of the things discussed is that this new generation has taken it to the next level of deception that has end times implications.

The closer we get to the return of the Lord, the worse it will get.

It was rightly said that "this new generation has no foundation" and this is true, but we've never warned the Body of Christ what to look for and how to distinguish between good and evil, and the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Without warning, Luke 12:2 comes into play.

"For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known."

Television masks the flaws and make ordinary people look bigger than life. We get mesmerized by their oracle skills. Their polished personalities and their multimilllion production studios makes any flaws go away. People gravitate to it and then, the Lord pulls back the covers to expose the sin in their life.

Take the incident with Daystar is a classic example.

A few years ago, Joni Lamb's grand daughter was allegedly molested by a family member and the grandparents allegedly refused to take action to bring charges on a family member because it would tarnish the ministry.

It gives the appearance that the family was more concerned about Daystar than their own grand daughter.

"For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil." 1 Timothy 6:10.

It's the going rate these days. At all cost, save the ministry and the fallen in sin minister any way you can. Because if we lose the ministry, our gain is gone, our rich and famous lifestyle disappears, and we'll have to work for a living.

Each exposure is just the tip of the iceberg.

Look at the children of Israel in the book of Ezekiel.

Ezekiel, Daniel, Zechariah and Jeremiah were contemporaries, Meaning that they lived at the same time before the Babylonian captivity in 586 BC.

The progression of sin is astounding.

Ezekiel 8:6 - 9:2 (NKJV) "Furthermore He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary?

Now turn again, you will see greater abominations.” So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall. Then He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall”; and when I dug into the wall, there was a door.

And He said to me, “Go in, and see the wicked abominations which they are doing there.” So I went in and saw, and there—every sort of creeping thing, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed all around on the walls.

And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in their midst stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan. Each man had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up.

Then He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, The LORD does not see us, the LORD has forsaken the land.’”

And He said to me, “Turn again, and you will see greater abominations that they are doing.” So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the LORD’s house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz.

Then He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man?

Turn again, you will see greater abominations than these.”

So He brought me into the inner court of the LORD’s house; and there, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of the LORD and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east.

And He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a trivial thing to the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence; then they have returned to provoke Me to anger.

Indeed they put the branch to their nose. Therefore I also will act in fury. My eye will not spare nor will I have pity; and though they cry in My ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.”

In other words, because they have contempt for the commandments of the Lord, they've increased in sin against the Lord.

Doesn't this sound like today?

TD Jakes. Todd Bentley, Robert Morris, Bill Winston, Kirk Franklin, Creflo Dollar, and Joni Lamb is just a short list of speakers that's allegedly involved in some form of scandal.

But this is expected when you preach false doctrine.

It gets worse and worse.
